Pollo de Pimentel - 1959 - Groningen, Netherlands.

After studying psychology and art history and training at the Dutch Film Academy, Pollo has continuously directed many series, TV films and films. Since 1999 he has also been active as a Creative Producer, Showrunner and Script Editor in various genres: Police series, thrillers, comedy, dramedy and drama. With 10 series that he has created so far, he is one of the most experienced and successful showrunners in the Netherlands.

 

He is also active as a creator and screenwriter. Speijk's police series, which he created, has been remade in other countries. Pollo has contributed to many of the most successful series in the Netherlands.
